Having found two sites, that do offers scans of basically all yearbooks, i will not pursue scanning the few I have anymore and deactivated the page containing the little I had been able to scan so far. Please go to http://aisr.org/alumni/yearbooks.html if you want to look for scans.

I’ve not received any response to the idea (see news of 07/22/10) of posting formers’ current pics, so this section is currently closed to.

Welcoming ideas for new content!

Yesterday I received a note, that my guestbook was assumingly under a spam attack, please read note „Important Note on Guestbook“, should be working now.

Upon request, I added the few pictures I have of the Washington Reunion. Sorry, I was somewhat sick those days, that’s why there are only few. They are in the new section „Events post Rics“.

The last guestbook entry contains an interesting request:

„Thanks lots and lots for doing a wonderful RICS SAIS site. the 80s RICS was truly amazing times. Would be nice to see yearbook entries next to pics of those today with their names, for ex, pics from last year's Washington reunion.“

On linking current pics with old yearbook pics... that would be a lot of work....

My idea, if you like: I could open a section with current pics of alumni; to show you how it could look, I started with a current pic of myself in the new section „Folks currently“.

A couple of weeks ago, the servers of Haloscan, whose service I used for the blog comments closed its service. Since this feature had barely been used, does anyone miss it? Post your comment, if you’d like to see it back. Or, just use the guestbook.

Tami Gentil had already sent me some of her pictures in February. Today I finally got around to adding them to the site.

A new photo section integrated, where I post some of my personal Rics pics, outside the big feature events.

I do welcome any pics donated for use on this site. So if you have pictures which relate to schoollife and school activities on and off campus, and would like to see them posted here, please do contact me!
